Description
With the National Planning Level (NPL) of 295,000 places set for 2026, the Australian university sector is at a crossroads. Transnational Education (TNE) is no longer a peripheral strategy; it is a necessity for financial sustainability and market resilience. However, the shift toward TNE requires more than ambition – it requires an evidence-based roadmap.
This session will interrogate the data underpinning current TNE models and, crucially, identify the significant data gaps that prevent universities from making high-confidence investment decisions. We will explore how universities can lead in this transition by turning regulatory compliance into a strategic advantage.
