Caryn has worked in transnational education for over 20 years, managing offshore partnerships and programs for a number of institutions including Curtin University, RMIT and Monash College. She joined Victoria University as Director, Transnational Education Partnerships in June 2019, and oversees partnerships and programs in Malaysia, China, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam, as well as VU's interstate campuses in Sydney and Brisbane which are managed in partnership with Education Centre of Australia (ECA).

Caryn has been involved in the leadership of the International Education Association of Australia’s TNE Network for over 15 years, with most of that period as Convener. A highly regarded TNE expert, she has recently been appointed to the Victorian Government’s International Education Advisory Council.
