Universities Australia have arranged discounted rates with a range of accommodation providers.

Please be advised that accommodation arrangements are the sole responsibility of individual delegates or their respective organisations. Universities Australia does not manage or facilitate accommodation bookings; all reservations must be made directly with the chosen provider.

Canberra International Airport is approximately 12 minutes from the conference venue. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal.

National Press Club Address

Transfers from the National Convention Centre to the National Press Club have been arranged for delegates with tickets to attend the Address.

Please ensure to take your lanyard with you for entry.

Buses will depart the National Convention Centre at 11.30am and return at 1.40pm.

 

Summit dinner at Australian Parliament House

Transfers from the Crowne Plaza to Australian Parliament House have been arranged for delegates with a summit dinner ticket.

Please ensure you have your lanyard with you as this will be used as a security check for entry into Parliament House.

The buses will depart from Crowne Plaza beginning at 5.50pm. The last bus will depart no later than 6.10pm.

The buses will depart from Australian Parliament House beginning at 9.30pm. The last bus will depart no later than 10pm.

 

Summit to airport

A shuttle is available for delegates wishing to travel to the airport at the end of the Summit on Thursday 26 February 2026. A bus will depart the National Convention Centre at 2.10pm.

You may transfer your registration to a replacement delegate at any time. Cancellations before 23 January 2026 will incur a 25% administration fee. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after 23 January 2026. 

In the event the summit is not able to be held in person, or you are not able to travel due to government travel restrictions, your registration will be converted to a virtual registration and the difference in registration fees will be refunded.

All catering will be served in the Exhibition Hall. Delegates who have notified us of special dietary requirements during registration will have their catering options available in the Exhibition Hall.

Please ensure you have added your dietary requirements to your registration.

The dress code for the summit is smart casual or business attire.

The dress code for the summit dinner at Australian Parliament House is semi-formal.

Your summit lanyard is your entry to all summit sessions, the exhibition hall and your selected social functions.

Please wear your name badge at all times.

For any registrations purchased after 6 February 2026, a late registration fee of 5% will be added to the total cost of registrations.

There will be an attendee app available to all delegates. Delegates will receive instructions to download the app in their pre-summit email.

Convenient, secure, underground car parking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the National Convention Centre Canberra. There are 480 parking spots with internal lift access from the top level. The height restriction of the car park is 1.9 metres.

You can find the entrance to the underground car park on Constitution Avenue, between the venue and the Airservices Australia building.

There is direct lift access from the top level of the car park to both levels of the convention centre. The maximum daily rate is $24.50.

The registration desk will be open during the following times:
Tuesday 24 February: 0730–2000
Wednesday 25 February: 0615–1730
Thursday 26 February: 0615–1500
