A/Professor Gwilym Croucher is the Deputy Director of the Centre for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Melbourne. A former Fulbright Scholar, Gwilym’s research focuses on different aspects of the political economy of higher education and he has published widely on higher education public policy and funding. Gwilym has led numerous large publicly funded research projects, including as a Chief Investigator on an Australian Research Council projects, as well as leading a variety of commissioned research for organisations such as UNESCO, Universities Australia, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Department of Education. Gwilym is a regular commentator on higher education.
