Professor Chris Moran is the Vice-Chancellor and CEO of the University of New England, where he leads the institution in supporting individuals and communities to thrive by creating and sharing knowledge.
An alumnus of The University of Sydney, Professor Moran began his career at CSIRO before holding various academic leadership roles at the University of Queensland and, most recently, as Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Research at Curtin University.
He is committed to UNE's role as an interface institution that connects diverse communities with transformative education and research, ensuring that geography is no barrier to aspiration.
