Dr Lawrence Pratchett is the Chief Executive Officer of UniReady Global, a cutting-edge technology platform that streamlines and strengthens the assessment of international student applications. Leveraging advanced document and financial verification alongside an AI-driven genuine-student interview, UniReady Global helps universities significantly reduce risk in their admissions processes. The company is backed by Education Centre of Australia (ECA), one of the country’s largest managed-campus providers.

Before founding UniReady Global, Dr Pratchett held senior academic leadership roles at the University of Canberra, serving as Professor of Politics, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and previously Dean of the Faculty of Business, Government and Law. He has held professorial appointments in both Australia and the United Kingdom and is internationally renowned as an accomplished political scientist. His research spans local governance, community engagement, and the democratic implications of emerging technologies, with his work influencing policy across local and national governments, as well as international bodies such as the Council of Europe.

Having spent the past four years living in India, Dr Pratchett is an expert on India’s higher education policy landscape and is a competent speaker of Hindi. He is currently authoring a monograph on the implementation of India’s National Education Policy.
