Dr Adriano Di Pietro is a globally recognised aerospace executive and deep-tech innovator with nearly 20 years of international experience spanning aerospace, defence, and automotive systems. As CEO of AMSL Aero, he leads the company’s mission to redefine aviation through zero-emission electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed to deliver passengers, services, and cargo point to point. Holding a PhD in advanced aerospace manufacturing and five patents in autonomous and uncrewed air systems, Adriano has founded and scaled multiple high-tech ventures across Australia, the US, and Europe.

His leadership roles include Founding Director of the AIR Hub at Swinburne University, Founding CEO of the Australian Air Mobility CRC, CTO at XTEK Limited (now Highcom Limited), Senior Manager and early team member at Zoox, and Program Manager at Quickstep Technologies in Sydney.
