Location Name
Swan room
Description

Led by Monash University's Associate Professor David Slucki, this session will introduce the Monash Initiative for Rapid Research into Antisemitism (MIRRA) and one of its most practical and in-demand outcomes to date: Antisemitism and cultural awareness training for universities.

The session will provide insight into MIRRA's groundbreaking and evidence-driven training program, which has already been completed by over 1100 leaders and frontline staff at major universities nationwide. As well as a glimpse into the content and approach, you'll be able to ask questions and gain an understanding of how MIRRA can best work within your own institution.

You'll also find out more about MIRRA's rigorous, Australia-focused research, which is working to provide practical guidance on understanding antisemitism, its contemporary forms and impacts on a sector-by-sector basis. Our work spans education, culture, media, law and civil society, and is designed to be constructive, apolitical and context-specific.
